Lahore, Punjab weather update; scattered rain likely

LAHORE – Scattered rain-wind/thunderstorms are likely in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Monday evening/night and Tuesday.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a shallow westerly wave prevails over upper parts of Pakistan. Another westerly wave will likely approach western parts of the country on 24th April.
Lahore’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 32-34 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 33-35 C on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over most parts of the province during the last 24 hours. However, rain/thunderstorms occurred at isolated places.

Sahiwal remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 36 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 29 per cent.
